My favorite stickers to use continue to be the whimsical designs by Ellen Krans (soft spoken line by MAMBI). They provide instant inspiration for me. . .I also love using double-sided patterned papers to get a very coordinated effect. And don't forget the sparkly ribbon to "tie it all together"!

I created a series of holiday cards using patterned paper from Autumn Leaves, as did members of the Kreativity Team. . .some are displayed at Debra's, and some I taught in my Seasonal Cards class. I'll try to post them here for you to enjoy! This one was in neither of those groups, but it is one of my favorites!

Here's my first attempt at Alcohol Inks a year ago. . .thought it was fitting for my Fall Card of the Week! Leaves are one of my favorite stamp images to collect! These 2 from Stampendous are no longer available. So remember, if you see it, like it, be sure to BUY it!!!

I'm hard at work working on my new Online Store. I have decided to make it my official "third" location. Here you will be able to shop for in stock items in your PJs, and I may also be fulfilling them in mine! Watch for the official Grand Opening soon. Halloween cards are so much fun! Here's another fun one I wanted to share with you. This was part of my card class at Tall Mouse this month. Everyone loved the ribbon effect I taught them! Just pull out your handy ol' stapler, and go for it!

Here's a fun card that is oh so easy to create! Doesn't it make you smile just a tad? I used Ellen Krans Soft Spoken stickers, ribbon, Mrs. Grossman spider stickers, fun papers (double-sided of course!) and a simple dotted Magenta stamp stamped w/VersaMark. Take this class with me at Tall Mouse this Saturday!!!

October Card of the WOM

I'm going to try and post a card at least once a month, and if we're all lucky enough, once a week! That's how I came up with "WOM" which stands for "week or month". The supplies used for this card include stamps from Inkadinkado (buy 2, get 1 free), Basic Grey Mellow 6x6 pad, and MM Halloween Clears. . .all items are available at Debra's Cottage (including the ribbon!).

Post Memory Trends

The show was very small, but still a good time for me! OMG! I actually ordered MORE than usual!!! Perhaps it had to do with the smaller crowds. . .and having more time to actually look at the catalogs to put my selections together. OR, perhaps I was in a spendy mood and had no will power whatsoever!!! LOL!!!!!!! In any case, you will ALL have LOTS and LOTS of new goodies to buy and play with soon. Memory Trends, Las Vegas!!!

Another retailer trade show. . .yes, life is rough! So rough, that I need to turn it into a mini vacation while I'm at it. I'm sure there will be SOME new goodies for me to drool over since I did not attend Summer CHA. And of course, it will be MY job to order them for YOU and ME to play with!!! I'll try to take pics and share them here. . .Vegas, here I come!

Lots of New Goodies

I didn't get to go to CHA-Summer, but my reps and distributors are doing a good job of tempting me with all the new goodies that are coming out soon. So far, I'm ordering new Kodomo stamps, clear stamps from Lizzie Anne Designs & Hot Off the Press. I saw a really neat ad for a contraption called the Glue Glider, which I think I have to get my hands on since I don't own the humongo Scotch ATG gun yet. New holiday stamps are on order from Hero Arts, which include their hottest COLLAGE stamps! There will be new colors of Stickles (my fave, as you all know!)

Back from Sacramento

Work. Fun. Vacation. Fun. Now back to work. . .I'm sure glad I can combine fun with my work and work with my fun. I try to enjoy each day to the fullest, regardless of my tasks at hand! Here I am with Tim and Carol (CEO of Stampers Corner!!!). She has a very nice store, packed with product in every corner! Free Glue O-Ring

Many of you picked up your free Glue O-Ring yesterday at the Outlines Card Class. Thanks to Gloria for showing everyone how to use it! A lot of the members surveyed own Stampin' Up ink pads/reinkers, and the next purchase on the list seems to be StazOn or Versafine. I will be sure to stock up on those pads plus the StazOn reinkers. . . no reinkers yet for Versafine. Drawing for the Crop n Glue Adhesive Kit will be on Thurs, Apr. 12. Winner need not be present to win, but will need to come pick up their prize at the next OCSB event.

I like colors and combos that "POP!" My current favorite color is LIME. It goes good with my other 2 faves: PURPLE and FUSCHIA accented with BLACK! Hence, my business card and website colors. . .but where's the purple???

It's April Fool's Day, but I am not pulling your leg that it's been 3 years since I last blogged here. In fact, I had to create a blog under a different name (Stampin' News from StampinEJ) when I tried to use my original choice (StampinEJ) and it was UNAVAILABLE! So does that mean I now own 2 blog sites?!?!?
